Backdrop CMS is the Drupal fork, it is targeted at small to medium sized businesses, non-profits, educational institutions, and companies or organizations who are delivering comprehensive websites on a budget.
This year we're hosting the first ever Backdrop CMS Mini-Camp as part of Twin Cities Drupal Camp. Our Mini-Camp will happen concurrent with Twin Cities Drupal Camp training day: the day before sessions. It's a full day of community submitted sessions on working with Backdrop CMS.
